Here's how domain ownership works while you're a Websyt customer, and what happens if you leave.
While you're subscribed
We register and manage your domain on your behalf as part of your subscription. Renewal costs are covered by us and included in your package. There's nothing extra for you to pay, and nothing for you to manage.
Can I take ownership of my domain early?
Domain transfer is only available at the point of cancellation. It isn't something we can do while your subscription is still active.
What happens when you cancel
When your subscription ends (see Cancelling Your Subscription for the full process), we release and transfer the domain to you upon request, so you keep it going forward.
One thing to be aware of: since we don't provide business email, any email service that was relying on this domain's DNS settings will need to be reconfigured once the domain transfers to you.
